How GolfCart.Fun runs a 50+ cart rental fleet across five beach towns
GolfCart.Fun delivers golf carts to vacation renters across Isle of Palms, Sullivan's Island, Mt. Pleasant, Seabrook Island and Edisto Beach, SC. ScheduleFleet was built to run it — and runs it every day.
The operation
Electric 4- and 6-seaters, plus gas carts on Seabrook Island. Two trucks, each pulling a two-cart trailer. Carts are dropped off at the guest's rental and picked up when they leave.
A day on ScheduleFleet
- Before delivery
Guests who haven't signed the waiver get reminder texts.
- 7 AM
The owners get a digest of the day's drop-offs and pickups and anything overdue. Guests get a text with their 10 AM–4 PM delivery window.
- Dispatch
Runs are routed by zone. On long days they split across two trucks: Isle of Palms, Sullivan's Island and Mt. Pleasant on one; Seabrook Island and Edisto Beach on the other. When a run needs more than one trailer load, the route adds a stop at base to unload.
- On the road
Drivers sign in with a PIN, see their stops on their phone, and record a walkaround video at drop-off and pickup.
- 10 AM
Pickups are due. Carts that aren't back are flagged overdue automatically, and extra days can be charged from the app.
- All day
Every cart is on the live AirTag map, and per-cart maintenance logs keep the fleet rental-ready.
Self-serve carts
Since September 2026, four vacation rental homes on Isle of Palms have their own carts with a QR code. Guests book, pay, sign and get the lockbox code by text — no delivery, no key handoff.
